She was indeed very beautiful. And extremely intelligent. She pioneered much in the way of electronic communications during WW2. One of her inventions wan electronic guidance system that operated on a technique she advanced called ‘’frequency hopping’’.

I remember it from the 90’s when PET was relatively new, I’ve looked for recent links, and haven’t found them.
One odd exception I recall was in about 1/2 male homosexuals did not get an endorphin surge from female imagery, suggesting a subset of male homosexuals were “wired” differently and failed to transfer arousal behaviors exclusively to females. I have pondered long on the consequences of this.
I suspect the research got buried because it did not fit anyone’s agendas, but the consequences of this trait are... everywhere
