At this point, Biden’s best move is to just ham it up and make a big spectacle of his dementia at tonight’s debate. Then his lawyers might be able to claim he has had diminished capacity for years and Hunter was manipulating him.
Of course his campaign’s constant denials that he is suffering from any mental decline kind of negate even that ploy.

I am a bit concerned how Trump will handle this issue. He absolutely needs to bring it up — in spite of the naysayers — but he needs to do it in a coherent way and be ready for objections. Those objections need not be difficult to handle. A simple: “Explain to me what is incorrect about Hunter apparently giving you a cut of monies given to him by the Russians, Ukrainians, and Chinese, as was clearly indicated in Hunter’s email and message threads. And what did you do with those monies?” He also needs to point out Biden’s 47 years in government service with no other discernible income, saying: “I’m familiar with real estate transactions. How is it that you’ve been able to purchase such valuable real estate on a government $175K salary, Joe?”
Trump needs to be clear and keep the rants to a minimum. It’s important that this issue be dealt with in a way that is easy for the public to get their arms around without them brushing it off as a conspiracy theory.
