Yes, It was part of a number of raids.
The warrant was valid.
The question is not if it were legal, but rather if they were prudent.
45 seconds to a minute after midnight is not much time to wake up, get out of bed, and answer the door.
Then, when they did not find any evidence of wrongdoing, the manure hit the rotary air mover.

The picture makes me wonder...was he hiding behind her during the raid since she caught five slugs and he caught none?

1) She ight still be alive if she had not been dating a drug dealer.
She wasn't dating a drug dealer, her ex-boyfriend was the dealer. The current boyfriend, as far as I've seen, had no prior anythings on his record. And, all charges against him have been dropped, last I heard.
2) She might still be alive if her moronic idiot of a boyfriend had not opened fired on the police.
Probably, but what would you do if unknown persons suddenly starting busting through your door at 0100? Doesn't matter what they're yelling, if you can even hear them, most people's first instinct would be to end the threat as quickly as possible. Even the Dems agree with this one, just ask Biden and his shotgun!
On an article specifically about the 'facts' being wrong, try to not add more incorrect/dumb stuff to it.
