Drudge got his 30 pieces of silver so he does not care.
Even at 500 million Drudge’s numbers are still inflated, as we all know his page reloads constantly. He also opens links in the same tab so when you click Back he gets another view. Several of the clone sites do the same things. When Matt went to the dark side in late 2017 (Sessions’ seat special election) I looked at alternatives and tried them all. Whatfinger News was the standout. No reloading, links open in a new tab. The format was different but it grew on me after a few weeks. I also like their video section, which is a real time saver, so folks can check that out.
I love Rush, but it’s probably a little late to expect him to change. I do still check Matt’s page myself sometimes, but I don’t click links (if I see an interesting topic I do a search and find a non-leftist site with the topic).
People keep saying that, and that he sold the site, but I don’t see evidence of that. I do see evidence of him moving left.
Folks keep saying that but there is no proof. Drudge clearly flushed is reputation with his daily attacks on Trump and I replaced him with Whatfinger News which is run by veterans who support Trump, so give that a look. If Matt did sell, we will find out eventually.
His site is okay but he tries too hard to be a Drudge clone. And what is up with having 100 or more links in the upper left corner above the site name? I counted over 120 one day. He also has the same page reload and links in same tab that Matt does, which inflates his ‘visits’ (that is a money grab). I prefer Whatfinger News which does do either thing and has a great video section too (all of your favorites in one place), so folks can check that out. They also have more links than any other site, and they aren’t old (CFP has 2-4 day old links a lot).
But I know the neighborhood
And talk is cheap when the story is good
And the tales grow taller on down the line
But I’m telling you, babe
That I don’t think it’s true, babe
And even if it is keep this in mind
...there is no proof he sold it. There is LOTS of proof he moved left.
Free Republic, Liberty Daily, Rantingly, News Break, NewsAmmo, Bongino Report,
I noticed the change during the special election for Jeff Sessions’ old Senate seat in late 2017. THAT was when Matt changed.
Hey now, she resembles that remark.
Drudge didnt sell his site. Still has his homo infatuation with Tom Brady on Sundays.
I don’t know about travels. I have heard the rumors about his proclivities, but in interviews he denies it and honestly I don’t care. #FreeMilo’s college tour got me through a back injury a few years ago.
Ye, all anti-Trump, left wing sites and paywalls. Trump donates his salary ever quarter. Matt’s never posted that a single time in almost 4 years.
Drudge was outed by his high school friend in the new book Drudge Revolution. She gave some sickening details about Drudges gay hookups as a high school student with old gay men. The old gay men used to pay for his train and plane tickets for Drudge to travel to meet them. And he was underage and in high school.
I'm surprised that the number isn't much lower than 40 percent. I stopped using Drudge years ago because of his auto refresh. It was just too annoying.
A lot of people would would keep Drudge open in a tab, and then occasionally glance at it for any changes. If the auto refresh gets counted every two minutes on a tab that is open all day, but only glanced at occasionally, the actual number of page views would only be a tiny fraction of those that Drudge counts.
