Ezra Klein is the editor-at-large and founder of Vox. Before that, he was columnist and editor at the Washington Post, a policy analyst at MSNBC, and a contributor to Bloomberg. Hes written for the New Yorker and the New York Review of Books, and appeared on Face the Nation, Real Time with Bill Maher, The McLaughlin Report, the Daily Show, and many more.
Trump poses the single greatest threat to the professional ,lifelong, political ,elite.
Trump removes the argument that decades of political experience generates better leadership in government.
Its the Political class and their MSM that oppose Trump or any “outsider”.
Had Ross Perot win he would have faced everting Trump is facing.
Trump will win by a solid margin in November. This is fake news.
The logical mistake that the author makes is the result of their deranged obsession with the personality of Trump. Honest informed people understand that the federalist form of government places the responsibility for public health in the hands of city and state authorities. Trump inherited a national pandemic response plan that was obsolete and relied on the laboratory testing of the CDC which was not scalable.
His rapid response task force quickly eliminated the shortages that this lack of planning created and his advocacy for widespread use of HCQ and Zinc would have significantly reduced the incidence of hospitalization and death if it had been followed as it was in many other countries with lower rates.
He was forced into the unnecessary strategy of shutting down the most successful economy in the world. If he was half the self obsessed dictator that Vox claims he is he would have rejected this bad advice to protect his reelection chances but he’s a highly moral person who did the right thing even at great personal cost.
The real reason informed people still support Trump is because they aren’t as easily fooled by propaganda from his enemies as Vox would like.
Ezra Klein is a first class tool.
You start with this inglorious piece of purplish prose:Trump pardoned Roger Stone, who was facing jail time for dirty tricks on the presidents behalf; and George Floyds murder sparked a nationwide movement protesting for racial justice to which officials responded by tear-gassing demonstrators in Lafayette Park in Washington, DC, so Trump could pose for a photograph holding a Bible.
As Barr said, was that before or after the fire was put out, set by those same peaceful tear gassed protestors just seeking racial justice.
What you might do is try giving all of this a rest and then try telling the truth. It's beyond you, I know, but give it a whirl.
The stability of Trumps numbers are almost unbelievable.

Only if you don’t understand the American people hate the Democrats and their friends in the media more then they do President Trump
The thing is, we know his heart. He is brash, and ballsy, but has a kind heart and he loves our country and our cops and firefighters and most of all our military. He doesnt like wounded warriors? Really? Then why does he go to Walter Reed? Why does he go to Arlington when no one is with him? Why does he go to Dover to receive their bodies when they come home? Why does he fight so hard to end stupid, senseless wars?
The media thinks we are stupid but its quite the opposite. The Dummies in Washington and the morons in the media dont understand, without us, they are nothing. No paychecks, no food on their tables, no houses, Nothing.
The problem is the bullsh*t flag. Trump's supporters keep raising it.
First of all, we all know these COVID numbers are inflated by orders of magnitude to include mostly elderly people with multiple co-morbidities who already had one foot inside death's door. And yes, in at least one case, a gunshot victim was listed as COVID. The unemployment numbers come from shutting down the economy, decisions made by Democrat state governors with the tacit approval of the Democratic Party because they'd hoped a ruined economy would make Trump look bad. So, yes, the Democrats allowed the American economy to be obliterated because Orange Man bad.
And injecting bleach? That's another one of those "Nazis are good people" lies where you take something he said, twist it out of context, and then try to present it as the president's verbatim comments.
We see through all of this crap! It stinks of desperation! and that's why Trump's supporters are sticking with him.
It's almost as if the left is saying, "How many more lies must we make up before you stop supporting Trump?!?!?"
Nope. Next question.

The better question which fascinates me is: How will the defeated react after a Trump whomping, the likes of which may even surpass Nixon’s, and Reagan’s.
Whimper away ? Riot ? Recalibrate ? Impeach ?
House leadership will change clearly, if they lose majority, and maybe even if they cling to it and will play into their stance.
Golly gosh. I wonder why?
When Trump first came down the escalator in 2015 my girlfriend was like, “yuk”.
When Trump starting winning she was like “no way, Jose”.
When Trump won she was “I can’t believe it”.
Today, after all of Trump’s winning she’s like “I bought my new KEEP AMERICA GREAT hoodie! How do you like it!!??”
“What lie will make you hate him as much as I do?”
