Is it illegal to have an attitude? So what if she did? The police should be out there protecting and serving, not acting like road pirates generating income from some poor working stiff. If someone is being reckless, fine, stop them and ticket them. Otherwise, you are rightfully giving people a reason to disrespect you.
One more thing, stop with the insane questions. Where ya heading? Where ya coming from? None of that is any of their business. Sadly, too many don’t know there rights.
As much as I would like to support the officer who conducted this traffic. Stop on this Self alleged victim of racial profiling I reserve judgment until I hear the other side. This case is certainly worthy of an explanation by the agency who conducted the stop. Again I have no issue with gut shot interdiction traffic stops. Pulling a car over for a tag light out but fully expecting that the occupant has warrants, no valid DL or drugs etc. having the occupant step out of the car to point out the tag light and issue a VERBAL or WRITTEN warning just to record the encounter. Even having a drug dog walk around the exterior of the car. If the car has drugs the dog is very likely to hit on it this giving cause to detain the driver and question why the drug dog hit on the car. Etc etc etc

Oh, so you’re for the power of the state, not freedom of the people. Got it. You will never get me, or any real freedom lover to agree to “gut interdiction” or whatever you call it. I guess that means stopping someones travel because you feel like it, and you have the power of the state behind you. NO WAY.

If you pull someone over for a tag light out legit traffic stop with no intention of writing a ticket and every intention of informing the driver of the infraction which makes the tag difficult to see at night without putting a spotlight on it to see if the tag is expired etc. etc. anyway what I meant by gut shot is that often you have gut feelings that the car style, location time of day and driver not “native” to the area just to name a few.

Lol. Just trying to keep the conversation going. Again, just waiting to hear the other side before passing judgment. The 16min rant deserves a closer look and agency public response.
