He wasn't in Scranton.......But drop him a line, maybe he might visit there.........
By Scranton I meant greater Scranton. And the best pizza I had in the region was near Shohola, even farther from Scranton. I live in Phoenix, but a lot of people going to Tempe, Mesa or Scottsdale will use Phoenix as a shorthand.

CNN: Trump takes all the pizza, eats pizza first and doesn’t share
Would be the headline for at least 3 hours if Trump tasted and took out the pizza himself

2 One Bite Pizza Reviews from Queens all way lower than Old Forge
I have no idea why I should consider One Bite Pizza Reviews an authority. There are also hundreds of pizza places in Queens. I don't know if they picked goods ones or not (I spent most of my NYC time in Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx)..

We live next to Shohola and can’t believe that any pizza around here that is the best in the world. Some of it is ok. You must not eat a lot of pizza. You were also a little nasty about Old Forge when it looks like a Brooklyn square pizza. If there is one authority on pizza, it is probably this guy. He has done like a 1000 pizza reviews and started out to review every place in NY and expanded into other areas.

I never said best in the world, just good pizza and much better than I expected for rural Pennsylvania.
I have eaten a LOT of pizza and have been a pizza cook, including making the insidious Chicago stuffed pizza at Eduardo's. There is a LOT of so-so and pretty bad pizza out there. Rockford, IL was among the worst, despite a large Italian population.
I am sorry, but any square cut pizza means that the dough is too thick, because the middle pieces turn into glop unless the crust is cardboard or very thick.
I am not familiar with the Brooklyn square cut. Is that for places that don't have a proper pizza oven? Chicago has Home Run Inn for its token thin crust well known pizza, New York is big enough to have plenty of pizzas that would not be considered "New York Style".
Merely eating a LOT of pizzas does not make you an authority, any more than seeing a LOT of movies makes you a great movie critic.

Didnt Woody Allen say that pizza is like sex: when its good, its great; when its bad, its still pretty good.

I loved pizza from La Sorrentina in Bklyn. Ginos used to make delicious pizza but it wasnt their specialty.
