Bingo. You nailed it. Best quote of the thread.
Listen up, brat.
Absolute hell is families who couldn’t sit with people they love while they were dying of this virus.
Absolute hell is millions laid of from jobs, people losing their business with no prospect of reopening.
Absolute hell is countless people people getting depressed amd committing suicide in despair.
Other people get to DISAGREE with you and your ideas. They get to do it vocally.
Grow up, deal with it.
Hiya Kearny. Growing up in the old home town we knew what soccer was long before anyone else in America knew what it was.
How dare Americans chant USA.
I only kneel for God!!!!!!!!!!! Kiss my ass you overpaid neanderthals.
So hes a poor spoiled athlete. Hed be a disgusting POS if he was on welfare.
Point of order: It is not “your own stadium.” It belongs to the taxpayers, you know, the ones that buy tickets and were booing....
The last six months have been absolute hell for us. Absolute hell. Because We have to watch other people play soccer, and were just sitting home unfortunately contracting COVID from the unfortunate situations that we were put in
Excuse me while I go get my violin that is 0.001mm in length.
Have no idea who this guy is. I dont watch or follow European football.
Soccer stadiums in Europe regularly seat 40,000 50,000 60,000 and even higher for a match.
3,000 in a stadium for a major league soccer game in a stadium is pretty pathetic.
Is this boy retarded?
This fool is taking the knee “ for what he believes in”, but then the fans who actually pay his salary can't take a stand for what they believe in?
On what planet is that?
Poor little pimple on the ass of time. Keep it up and you’ll have carboard cutouts of fans in the stands like MLB.
That BOOOO-ing will grow in magnitude and culminate in a Trump landslide in November.
I FEEL IT!
Why do white people give money to these racist athletes? It really shows how ignorant so many people are.
JoMa
I knew the sport wasn’t going to take off when the “highlights” were just shots that almost went in - in a game that last 1/2 longer than many others (90 vs. 60 minutes).
How is everything?
Yes, it was popular here for a long time - I remember my parents hosting the players from Scotland when we were young.
I’m not sure many white people (or any others) give much money to the American soccer league. Maybe in Seattle, where they can virtue-signal by pretending they’re more “Euro-weenie” than the rest of the country, but otherwise - I rarely see MLS apparel on anyone (and I live one town north of the Red Bulls stadium in NJ).
What junior doesnt understand is the fans who were booing were expressing what they believed in.
I’m doing ok. Hows by you? My two older brothers who are in their ‘60s played soccer in Kearny from the time they were teenagers. My Dad played soccer when he was a kid in St. Cecilia’s in the late ‘40s. And my grandfather played soccer in East Newark as a young man prior to WW1. Americans make me laugh when they suddenly act like soccer is this hot new thing.
