The water bottle was between his knees, but he wasn’t drinking. And like you said, his hands were touching opposing fingers. His mask was pulled down under his chin, and in one picture, his wife had her mask completely off. There’s also a picture of Fauci with the mask on, but his nose is uncovered.

I think that Fauci believes that masks don’t work on this virus (like he said on 60 Minutes) and that he really hates wearing them. He always taking them off ASAP or fidgeting with them. Too bad that he can’t be honest with himself...and the public.
