It’s been that way since at least the early ‘90s. I was an office temp and computer technician and worked in many different kinds of offices.

Seems to be the natural state of corporations these days, all seem to have very liberal SJW policies. If you have a family to support, you learn to keep quiet and just do your job.
Interestingly, it seems there is no correlation between political beliefs and how productive an employees is or how well he or she gets along with others. I've seen ultra-liberals who were super-productive, got along with everyone, and were able to laugh at themselves, and conservatives who were lazy, defiant, and unable to get along with anyone.

Good story. Glad it worked out for you. My only time working for a woman was as a Navy Reserve Recruiter. My lesbo Chief was fair, effective, friendly, and one of the best leaders I ever had. There are always the exception.
