Why don’t you call the White House and demand Trump say exactly what you want him to say?
“For total crowd which would include a lot of the infield right?”
Seats 250,000 and I think in 2016 we had 100,000 in the infield. (First couple year I went, the infield was called the snake pit. Yow. Females couldn’t walk there without male body guard. It got cleaned up.)
Been to 30 500’s. My great uncle had a 500 party every year when I was a kid. Probably watched 50 races.
The best part of the race is the patriotisms at the start of the race. And then some!
The year the Boston bombers attacked the marathon, it was finished at the 500. Crowd went nuts, in a good way.
A couple years we had stealth bombers fly over. Amazing. And awesome. You don’t hear them until they are right over you and then they are as loud as hell.
Why dont you call the White House and demand Trump say exactly what you want him to say?
...
I posted an opinion. You don’t like it, tough sh*t.
Ive toured the track but never been to a race. Its on my bucket list.
You can cry about what you want Trump to say all ya want. It don’t bother me at all.
You just wait! Biden’s rallies will be in the dozens of people. Most will be media people.
It’s a blast.
But the best part is the patriotisms. When you’re standing with a quarter of a million Americans singing “The Star Spangle Banner” with their hands over your heart, it’s a great experience.
A few years ago they had several WWII vets there, and the crowd went wild.
The best race was Rossi winning. They pulled of his gear. He looked totally shocked and then tears just ran over his cheeks. He was 24 at the time. Loved this kid’s appreciation.
