DS RAT Plan B: Colluded CCP Virus. FAIL
DS RAT Plan C: Riots & Mayhem. FAIL

Who knows what evil they have for Plan D, but the communist SOBs ought to be arrested, tried and hanged.

"Even conservative people and conservative groups claim that they are somehow showing 'respect' by wearing masks..."

Wrong. Just keeping some of the old Trump voters alive. Mind your own business, Karen. We'll wear masks, if we want to.

"...and accepting governmental control of their gatherings."

Wrong again. Hang out in bars looking for one night stands, if you like.

Alex Berenson’s coronavirus booklet hits #1 top spot on Amazon after the online retailer initially rejected it!

Alex Berenson’s booklet on coronavirus, “Unreported Truths about COVID-19 and Lockdowns: Part 1,” became the No. 1 best seller in Amazon’s Kindle Store on Saturday.

Former New York Times reporter and prominent lockdown critic Alex Berenson provides a counterweight to media hysteria about coronavirus in this series of short booklets answering crucial questions about COVID.

Drawing on primary sources from all over the world - including state and national-level government data, Centers for Disease Control reports, and papers in prominent scientific journals - the Essential Guide offers clear, concise, and measured answers to some of the most important questions around the coronavirus:

How are COVID deaths counted?

How many Americans are likely to die in a worst-case scenario?

What is the evidence that lockdowns do or do not help reduce the spread of the illness?

Are masks an effective way to reduce the spread?

Why did the forecasts for coronavirus hospitalizations prove so wrong?

Are children at serious risk from coronavirus?

What has the mental health impact of lockdowns been?

Whether you have been skeptical of the media’s panicked reporting all along or are just starting to wonder why the predictions of doom from March and April have not come to pass, the Essential Guide will provide you with the factual, accurate, and impeccably sourced information you need.

Please note: the Essential Guide will be published in multiple sections. Part 1 includes an introduction, an examination of the way COVID deaths are counted, and a forecast for a potential worst-case scenario of coronavirus deaths in the United States.

The pretext for it all was a virus with a .4% fatality rate. as reported by the flawed CDC.

What an ironic title to this piece, when the author's second sentence states a blatant lie.

Today, at 10:11 AM, the death rate stood at 5.729%. This is an easy enough number for anyone to determine; simply go to one of the Covid-19 tracking websites, access the case and death numbers, and apply a little elementary calculation to those numbers.

From the Johns Hopkins Covid-19 tracker:

Worldwide cases: 7,038,492. Worldwide deaths: 403,267.
The calculation:

403,267 divided by 7,038,492 times 100 equals 5.729%

From the Worldometer Covid-19 tracker:

Worldwide cases: 7,110,306. Worldwide deaths: 406,474.
The calculation:

406,474 divided by 7,110,306 times 100 equals 5.717%.

These are a little different because each group tracking receives and compiles information at different times. However, they are close enough together that we can be certain that the real numbers are very close to these values.

The CDC has never reported a 0.4% fatality rate. That number comes from a planning scenario document, and does not represent any real data.

the cases do not show those who were asymptomatic.

those numbers will not be out until all have been tested for antibodies, but modelling has put it at .4%...

if only 30% show symptoms, then the number of infected is so much more.

Not only this but there is a seriously effective cure/prophylactic. It is readily available, inexpensive and safe.

It is hydroxychloroquine plus antibiotic plus zinc.

Had Obama proposed it, it would be in general use today.

But no, it was Pres. Donald Trump who suggested the drug.

The media and democrats flew into a frenzy.

Fake news “studies” and liberal-backed “science” pooh-poohed it.

The shutdown was 100% UNNECESSARY.

Lives were lost. Careers were destroyed. Families were harmed. Businesses were lost.

All because of two things: Trump Derangement Syndrome and Fake News.

There should be some legal action we, the people could take against the perps: the media and the Democrats.

The CDC has reported 0.24% rate. Your simple math belies the application of advanced mathematics and modeling to a scientific inquiry. Are you for real? Stop embarrassing yourself.

Where do you get a 0.24% rate? Is that from the CDC’s pandemic planning scenario document? Which is not a documentation of data, but a list of various hypothetical scenarios constructed for planning purposes?

My method of determining the death rate from the case and death data is exactly what the WHO and other public health agencies use. If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me.

Considering that the CDC has reported that is is 0.24% and that under 65 it drops to 0.08% I suppose that you choose not to, or cannot grasp the methodology. Your calculations are yours alone. There is not a single scientist who stands with your statement that the death rate is 5%. You are doing fourth grade math on a graduate level problem.

It continues to demonstrate your complete lack of understanding of basic science. And your 1% statement! Again, you are saying we would have 200M cases in the US (your words, your calculations) when there are only 7M worldwide.

Dont lecture me about math when your statements are as preposterous as they are inconsistent with standard scientific methodology. The fact that you continue to pursue this demonstrates the worst of all worlds...the dangerously smug and ignorant who believes in her superiority

Let the adults and doctorates in the world do the science.

“My method of determining the death rate from the case and death data is exactly what the WHO and other public health agencies use. If it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me.“

If the WHO statistics are good enough for you, then you are still thinking like a Democrat.

I’ve seen no lockdown and haven’t been ordered to wear any mask outdoors or anywhere else. I’ve worn masks in stores along with the other older conservatives, because I wanted to. The young, illegitimate lefties around here don’t wear them, and quite a few of them have been absent from work after their parties. Outdoor activities have been enjoyable and without crowds. Never had a day without plenty of toilet paper or meat, either. ;)

“I’ve seen no lockdown and haven’t been ordered to wear any mask outdoors or anywhere else.”

Then you are lucky - tens of millions are out of work because power-happy Democrat Governors arbitrarily targeted their industries.

Because of the too-big-to-fail mentality, large chain grocery, fast food, gas stations, convenience stores, big box and department stores - all stayed open - while small businesses who could least afford the revenue loss were shuttered.

Go ahead and wear a mask if it makes you feel special, but don’t pretend it’s “settled science“ (an Al Gore term) that you need one. And don’t pretend this politically motivated Democrat forced shutdown didn’t happen - it did. And don’t call yourself a conservative if you believe the government has the authority to restrain trade “for our own good”.

If the WHO statistics are good enough for you, then you are still thinking like a Democrat.

Please explain how using publicly available numbers is "thinking like a Democrat"? I really don't get it.

Furthermore, what am I supposed to do--make up my own numbers and analyze them? That strikes me as being profoundly unscientific.

FYI, here is the link to my source for case data: Johns Hopkins Covid-19 Dashboard

I don't think that Johns Hopkins is viewed as a bunch of kooks, hacks, and quacks. It's one of the best universities (and health care systems) in the world, and I'm not just saying that because I live 40 miles away.

And another source: Worldometer.

Numbers from the two sources are pretty darned close to each other. And I bet the WHO numbers aren't far off from either of them.

"Then you are lucky - tens of millions are out of work because power-happy Democrat Governors arbitrarily targeted their industries."

I don't believe in luck and am an American in an American state.

"Go ahead and wear a mask if it makes you feel special,..."

That insult and Freudian mindset is foreign to me. On such matters, we Americans tend to think more than feel. Epidemic masks don't hurt business but can help it. Such masks were invented in the West. I've worn masks for the Army and for steel construction. It's not that hard, and most employees are capable of doing it properly with minimal training. Associating masks with Algore is a fallacy and hysterical insult.

"And don’t call yourself a conservative if you believe the government has the authority to restrain trade "for our own good"."

The government with the American people behind it. Tariffs, when necessary, are the law of our land. We impede foreign mercantilism. Trump 2020!
