My SIL called us early last evening with this but I could not verify it anywhere so I didn’t mention it. I’m still sceptical. Its a great idea though.

FL Governor sent 500 combat (Afghan) experienced FL National Guard Combat Infantry Brigade. They were deputized under the orders from the Director of USMS (part of the DOJ, under AG Barr), Donald Washington (West Point,1977 US Army).
There are 94 US Federal Marshals who can in turn (chain ofcommand) deputize deputy marshals within their districts— and these can be who they determine who is needed and from where (including civilians, no criminal history, etc.)

All 500 of the combat infantry brigade were sworn in on June 6th by a DC Marshal/aide. The have arrest and subpoena powers through the DOJ, and are armed (their DOD directive superseded) and “in the loop” of the police.

In this case in the Marshal for DC’s district- they are deputized. No longer DOD/Esper input whatsoever on their tactics, actions, protection, and armament.

What would any of these lefty a@@wipes have said if Nixon had refused to resign, and WON non-impeachment and then exposed just WHO got the DNC’s whore/call girl book in the Watergate (with John Dean’s wife’s photo in it- her actual profession when he married her). He could have done this— but he was loyal to people who were not loyal to him.
I guess you could say Nixon did tbe honorable thing. Yes I read that about Deans wife, but resign to protect a photo?
