Depends on device.
Computer: hit print screen key. Open ms paint, paste image using the drop menu choices.
Mobile, varies by device. Usually hit volume down and power button at same time.

Hold down the Alt key and press PRTSCR key.
Open a wordpad file and press CTRL V to paste the image into the document

The ALT key limits the capture to the open window. If you want the whole desktop simply pres the PRTSCR key.

You can also open a graphics program create a new image and paste the screen shot into that.

In Windows 10, hold down the “Windows” key and press PrtSc. The screen will darken a bit and the image will be placed in a folder called “Pictures/Screenshots” under “This PC”. Note that it’s a PNG file, so you may need to convert it to JPG or TIFF if you want to manipulate it.

In Firefox 76.0.1 browser, you can right click on the webpage and a menu comes up that offers “Take a screenshot” that you can size, shoot and then download or copy. I don’t know when this function was added to the browser.

Nah, it’s a free app. Google Share X and its available even on Google play. We use it even here in Hollywood for graphic design.

Alt-PrntScrn will usually capture the active window only.

If you want to save a webpage as a PDF there are tools to do that. I use Bullzip PDF Printer.

Win 10 has a snipping tool - under the menu Windows Accessories. I like it because it displays the clip in a window with options to save.

You can also hit the Windows button/Shift/S and make a clip but it seems to save it to clipboard so paste to another area is the only option.
