He was a hero in the 2A community. IIRC, GOA reported that he had somehow found a procedural way to filibuster anti-gun legislation...while serving in the House. Respect.
Condolences to his family

So sad to hear this. I’m not from Oklahoma but I admired him.
I heard him once compare DC to Chinese water torture in that it was very difficult to stay true to one’s principles with the constant pressure to acquiesce to the DC machine.
May his soul rest in peace.

RIP Senator, you were one of the good guys. Was always proud of America and Oklahoma. Go rest high on that mountain!

Dr.Tom was a giant of men, despite is short stature. I find it ironic that he passed after the passage of a $2.3 Trillion stimulus bill. When I met and talked with him in 2009, he had a noticeable accepting and non-judgmental demeanor. He was loved by many, and a man of integrity.

Tom Coburn is one of the senators that I remember. Lord knows this Republic could certainly use more like him in the House and Senate. Rest in Peace Tom Coburn. Condolences to his family and friends.

You deserve, at the MINIMUM, a two week zot for posting that filth.
