That happened to me too. I took lots of c and zinc and slept more and never actually got sick just huge fatigue and headache. It left. Then a week later was back, did the same thing and it left again.

“Has to be an even number.”
Like when you have one black grandparent making you 25% black?

This is referring to alleles.

You should be able to get tested. What state do you live in?

An antibody test to show who has already been infected will probably come up with tens of millions of Americans. This virus has been around since at least October.

Many are coming around to this way of thinking. Just think what that would mean if millions have already had it? A recession for nothing.

It would mean the death rate is far, far below that of the flu and this was all a hoax.

I have a feeling many of us have had it and survived to tell about it. The coughing and shortness of breath was so bad. Had it a good 3-4 weeks.
I am glad you are much better. I am not surprised it took a while to get better.
When I was much younger, I had the flu and decided I would utilize the time off by building stuff in my workshop and did not bother to maintain nutrition as needed. Developed pneumonia.
Will not try that again. It was dumb of me.

Im 66 and have been sick for a week. Cough, fatigue, low grade fever, digestive issues. No one will test me because I havent traveled to China, know anybody who has the virus, and I dont have severe SOB. Id love to know exactly what this is and when I can expect to feel better.
Have you talked to your doc? The chances of you having contracted the Wuhan Virus are very low, but your doc should still be swabbing you for other stuff - flu, cold, strep, bronchitis, mono, etc. Many of which are more likely than Wuhan. And, you could have more than one of them! Ask your doctor if your insurance covers running a PCR test - it checks for I believe 300ish different issues, but is pretty expensive, couple thousand base cost. Tricare covered all of it though for when the kiddo was sick, post-catastrophic cap.

Not just that, but chromosomal makeup is never even, either. With 23 chromosomes, you mathematically have to be more related to your dad or your mom. (Obviously ignoring genetic anomalies of 22/24 chromosomes.) In fact, depending on how your daddy' sperm and mommy's egg did on their first date, you might have actually pulled 60-70% (any percentage, really) from one parent. You might be 25% of each grandparent lineagely, but ethnically/genetically, you might only have 5-10% from any particular grandparent.

I would like to know too
I had a terrible cough, clogged lungs, and low grade fever in February, passed it to my wife who had same. My daughter had some symptoms, but was barely effected. All the hallmarks of Covid-19
I'll just repost what I told another poster later, earlier in the thread, since he had a similar statement.

This is just one example out of many. Were I not much wiser would not be here now. Kind of like there are old pilot, and there are bold pilots, but no bold, old pilots.

What is interesting to me is the very large number of negative tests. For example, here in Wisconsin 8,000+ tested, only 500 positive.Well the test for antibodies will answer that question. The current test only detects active Covid infections. The antibodies will tell the history of exposure. Once you have antibodies, you no longer are infected because your antibodies kill the virus.

I'm not a doctor, just someone who had those symptoms last month.Did you test positive for the flu or did you just ride it out? If you didn't get tested you are making an assumption. They're already talking about other symptoms that they didn't realize were part of this infection.
