The write is confounding hydroxycholoroquine with chloroquine. Different drugs. Different side effects. The poisoned Nigerians took choloroquine under the theory that if 600 mg is therapeutic, 6000 mg is curative. Bad theory.

The idea of giving a choice to those who need this drug seems a good one to me. If the media advises against it, let them turn it down for use on themselves & their devotees. Seems like that would serve to possibly separate the sheep from the goats.
Thank you, I’m 1 of those people who react to many drugs. 2 were A Fib trips to ER and Bentyl was Neurological before the nurse backed her cart out of the room.
Latest was Januvia, severe Hives, Predisone then drives my Blood Sugar up to high. Metformin is well known for side effects especially GI, besides being made in China and has the China Cancer agent in it. Wonder why the most used Type 2 Diabetic meds have 99% same side effects. I get told to see the Gastro, for the Reflux, swollen ankles, joint pain, muscle cramps in toes/hands + constipation are all listed side effects? Tricare took Nexium off the formulary 2 yrs ago, the OTC is a weak substitute Name brand no store brand! Duh the only new med is the ENDO’s stuff I can’t take. Or see the Cardio for the ankle swelling.

I have no ill will to anyone who is seriously ill. I hope Lat gets the very best treatment available and recovers to live a full life. My reason to post is that the media publicizes these case and buries crucial clarifying information deep in the article to make us think that we are all equally at risk. There are obvious critical risk factors (some of them deriving from lifestyle choices) and they are important to avoid unnecessary public hysteria.
Contrary to Vermont Lt.’s assertion, my comment was not mean spirited, rather I was simply pointing out that the impression that an otherwise healthy, vibrant young man being on his death bed due solely to Coronavirus could be mistaken. A subsequent poster also mentioned that he also is asthmatic - an obvious critical risk factor.
So can Tylenol if mixed with alcohol. Tylenol all by itself can cause liver damage.
If a child gets a double dose of Tylenol it can kill them real quick.
