To keep up with the increased prices, there are pressures on wages to increase, and this contributed to the exporting of industries out of Italy - including things that have been iconic to Italy - like making clothes and shoes.

Don't justify globalism/greed. Protectionism is what is needed to combat this shame.

We hope that at the next G7 meeting China be reprimended for their irresponsible behaviour. This can happen again if we ignore this crises.

Agreed. And maybe we should quarantine China every August through April. Seems that’s where all of the winter/spring illnesses begin every year.
