The average Rat voter views an election as an opportunity to take something from somebody else. The whole Rat ethos is based on envy & retaliation for some “imagined” slight. It’s all wrapped up in radical egalitarian rhetoric so it sounds “moralistic”. However it all comes down to “You Have Something I Don’t Have & I Want It! So I’ll Use the Power of the State to Take All or Some of it From You!”.
