That would sure be something citizens deserve to know if it was one of our revenge moslem imports.
I read in another report on this the response time was 6 seconds. It is unfortunate that in those 6 seconds the criminal was able to take two lives in that time. Just think how many lives would have been lost if he wasn’t stopped for minutes - until law enforcement got there. Wonder how many shotgun shells or rounds he had on him? Or if he was armed with a backup weapon? A “round count” would probably give us a good idea how many lives were saved.
I would say by viewing the video that the open carry (probably designated security) instinctively was reaching for his weapon after the first shot. He smoothly assumed a shooting stance and took the bad guy out. Perfect reflex action and follow through.
The bad guy appeared to have a shotgun and got off three shots. How many rounds did he have left?

Unless your state has a stupid law making it illegal to to carry in church.
If their is no screening at the doors with equipment such as x-rays and metal detectors, anyone could walk into a church with a gun, even a good guy. :)
