Even more impeachment “news” throughout the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, with the belief that most Americans will just want the topic to go away by any means.

I believe these ideas are spot on. If I were President Trump, I would pull this right into my campaign for re-election. Far from hiding from it, I'd make it front and center. Something like "Here's my performance review:"
Continuing ... "These are just some of the promises I made as a candidate, and kept as your President. For all this success and Making America Great Again the Democrats impeached me. They didn't like MAGA, they want policies that help them accumulate and exercise power, while you all suffer. Vote for me and we'll Keep America Great. Vote for a Democrat, and they'll impeach anyone who gets in the way of their power grab. Impeach this!"
Yeah, I believe President Trump will revel in the 'rats having impeached him. He can pull up his record and point to it, and to the 'rats, and destroy them.
While a full trial that airs all the dirty laundry of the Bidens and the Democrats would be enjoyable, I think an early motion to dismiss is the best outcome. It will underscore that the charges were illegitimate, and it will forever put an asterisk on the impeachment effort. It will be the impeachment that was thrown out of court.

I believe this impeachment is all about Trump zeroing in on exposing a host of Dem and Republicans who have been taking laundered money bribes in exchange for our tax dollars in the form of aid. This is a pre-emptive strike to discredit any attempt at prosecution of these crimes.
