As I understand it the senate can ask for dismissal immediately which is what Linda wants. If not you get a trial and the question is does Trump allow the House R’s to defend him or bring in his legal team? Or can he combine the two? I don’t know. I know if I were impeached I would demand a trial and haul the deep state in front of the world and compel testimony.

The farce in the House right now makes me think long and hard about the American justice system. I have served three tours of circuit court jury duty and sat on everything from first degree assault, to drugs, to civil trials to a murder trail. In each of those case I had reasonable faith in the system at the county level.

I have to say right now outside the county level of the justice system I would have to say we are every bit as corrupt as any third world banana republic. I couldn’t trust anything the FBI/DOJ put in front of me as a juror. How does a witness get to suddenly become an attorney and question the defense attorney? This is beyond corrupt. And this guy was a federal prosecutor at the sainted Southern District NY? If that is true they are a freaking joke!
