VCDL is more effective in Virginia, but the only way to stop this is all hands on deck. This is where public meetings in churches and VFW/American Legion halls have to take place to mobilize.

I can't stress enough that CSA must be visited and the word passed to ALL. All means all.

"My war" was the Vietnam war: I spent 17 months in combat and I can tell you first hand, that it was drummed into us that we were there to fight to protect the local villagers from the enemy.

Calley and his criminals were used by the enemy and the pro-enemy Left to paint all of us as committing atrocities as a matter of policy and that was the exact opposite of what was true. The Nazis murdered millions in the course of their brutal reign so I do take exception to anyone comparing us and them.

I saw some of our Marines die to protect individual villagers and the Corps would have made short work of anyone who murdered anyone.

I think you are missing the point of this discussion.

I was commenting on the Law enforcement dishonoring their oath and the repercussions from turning their back on their oath.

In the end using the excuse of "just following orders" won't wash.

And nothing more. Just pointing out the historical correlation of that defense, and failure.
