The woman was there to take the baby!!! That is why they first brought females into the police force for female prisoners and children.
She was going after the baby.

Yes he should have handed the baby to the female officer that is what SHE is there for!!!
That’s not why they send women to arrest for alleged domestic abuse
I’ve witnessed them do precisely what I described and it’s a power play
Men are quite capable of handling children and I’d wager rescue har more more children in distress than women cops or firemen do
I did not feel like he was using the kid as a shield
But he should have cooperated

Why didn’t the police ask to speak to the woman? Why did the police not simply question the man at the door? The police escalated this situation to a very dangerous level. I also question the police right to enter the home when there was no evidence a crime was taking place. The phone call could very well have been a prank. The police had the duty to deescalate and question the subject at the door to make further determination if anyone was in danger. The police IMO went completely into the wrong the second they stepped into the home. Tasing this individual was assault.
