My beloved tells me constantly I am actually too friendly with people.

That said, he also knows I have PTSP and my Fight-Or-Flight reaction is really good. Discovered that trait years ago when recovering from an event at my workplace.

I do understand where you and saxophonist are coming from.

My beloved freaked out when he was listening several years ago to the racist Jesse Jackson talk about when he was a waiter how he would spit on the food of white people who he didn’t like.

Until that moment it had never crossed on either of our minds that people could be that evil and vicious.

Since then, he will not be seated in an area where a black mail is the server. My beloved is from New York and he thought he’d heard of everything until he heard Jesse admit to doing that action. Yuck.

We’re really cautious in our own way... in the past 20 or so years we can count on one hand (with fingers left over) of the people we’ve allowed into our home who were not workmen. Of those workman, we are extremely careful when hiring.

Why would anyone talk to an Uber driver about anything?

They ask the same thing about you when you get in their car.

Heck, a lot of Freepers ask the same about you. Why ask you anything about anything, to quote Game of Thrones...”You know nothing...”.

Well I do Lyft part-time and I have had convos with my riders that covers everything from marriage to politics.

I have a 5.0 rating, 2 proposals and one local political run for school board under my belt.

I see your two proposals and raise with 3 different women asking to have my baby. (True stories) and a druggie pimping out his wife, with her sitting next to him. No offer was accepted.

I don't talk about me, except to say I don't talk about me.

Here, where I've been for 20 years and am somewhat comfortable, I might say a couple of things.

But not to strangers.

Just after WW2, the allies made the German people see the concentration camps to understand the enormity of what they supported.

We should do the same with liberals/socialists/progressives/communists/'democrats'.

Send them to witness, first-hand, what leftist governments do to countries such as Cuba and Venezuela and China and N. Korea, and Ecuador. Before they support the left's march towards socialism, those supporters should be forced to live in those hellholes for at least 6 months. To make matters most visible for the left, make the Hollywood left live in those hellholes before they go on TV to espouse their stupidity.

Thanks for asking. The new company’s name is Tryp. They’ve been beta testing their apps in south Florida for two months The CEO said Tryp will be up and running in four markets by end of 2019, and 46 more by end of 2020. The next ones to open up will be Orlando and New Orleans. The company had 2,000 drivers signed up in Miami/Ft Lauderdale market when it launched there. Los Angeles County had over 5,000 drivers already signed up. If the company can get regulatory approval there, I’m sure that’ll be one of the markets to open next year.

Drivers love the better pay and the stock options, and that Tryp drivers are the company’s customers. Passengers are enthusiastic about Tryp’s features related to safety and price. And both drivers and passengers love Tryp’s free referral system. Every time someone you refer takes a ride, you get 40 cents. If your balance from these 40-cent referral fees is less than $25, you can use your balance to pay for Tryp rides. If your balance is above that, you can cash it out. If someone you referred upgrades from being a (free) passenger to being a Driver, you’ll earn a $25 commission when they pay their $98 setup fee, and you’ll earn a 30% commission every time they pay their monthly subscription that allows them to accept hails from passengers. It would be a pleasure and an honor to refer any of my FRiends here. Inbox me if you’d like to be referred!

Well, I know an Uber dribver who speaks five languages, has had five children, and whose IQ is likely much higher than yours, so that Uber driver is an interesting person to talk to! BTW, driving arrogant pricks little nettles like you around is work, so the drivers are working for a living.
