Maybe Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat leaders should have thought about “unintended consequences” of the impeachment push.
Democrats issues such as global warming, open borders, Medicare for all, gun control, are going on the back burner, as the impeachment of Trump becomes the key Democrat issue.
I heard one sad liberal on TV say, that with impeachment, gun control is dead in this Congress, as impeachment will “suck all the oxygen out of the room”, leaving no time/political will to act on any other issues.
Democrats make their bed, they lie in it.
Or should we forfeit the 2nd Amendment, end up forced to use Medicare for All, end up paying off the debts of every college student whose parents didn't work and save to pay for college, and watch our economy get driven into the ditch by socialists whose idea of success is mass homelessness and Baltimore.
There will be no room for discussion of policies or anything else, just are you with Trump or against him. Woe be unto the Democrats trying to get media coverage in that environment.
The proglibs echoed the lies of the Blue-pill press so many times they have lit the fuse of the impeachment bomb and none of them know how to put it out.

They must think if they push the “Orange Man Bad” message often enough, even Warren can be elected despite her radical proposals. The Democrats on Wall Street are threatening to sit out the election or vote for Trump. Maybe they will be told privately—”don’t worry...that’s just to get votes...none of those wild proposals will ever get passed by Congress.”
If this impeachment BS goes to the Senate, won’t Harris, Warren, Sanders, Klobuchar, Bennet and Booker have to drop out of the race or else recuse themselves from voting?
The ones who are Senators and Reps running against Trump who voted to impeach him are guilty of misusing their office for personal reward (reelection).

Homeless hobos living out of shopping carts and baby strollers are the norm and it looks more like urban camping than Grapes of Wrath. Had a perfectly able bodied bum shake me down with the line - not a drunk, don’t do drugs, not mentally ill - just a professional begger .
English is a second language in many areas and most illegals seem to be from Central America, not Mexico.
Retail sales has become a war zone us to the recent Democrat led decriminalization of shop lifting. WalMart is re configuring their stores into locked up, access controlled shopping islands where anything worth stealing is locked in glass cabinets and the sales associate removed the goods for you and checks you out at the island. You don't get to touch your purchase until after you have payed for it.
The grocery store clerk standing watch near the exit door looked at me with an expression of exasperation and volunteered that “this is the place where the shoplifters start their sprints out the door”. Parking lots have private security and portable video surveillance systems
All in some of the nicer areas of Orange County, BTW. The thin veneer of normalcy is being worn away by the steady encroachment of societal decay. Everything looks noticeably more run down and un maintained
It gets much worse in other areas of LA and I hardly recognize some places anymore. Welcome to the Democrats vision of the Progressive Utopia they wish to export to the rest of the country. Oh, and by the way, the only reason the California experiment is not in free fall to total collapse is because of massive infusions of Federal dollars to float the system. Quality of life is really declining as dealing day to day with the constant fall out from the creeping dysfunction takes its toll
