16 year old humans in the throes of puberty are not useful resources for any information, other than their experience with stuff like pimples and unwanted surprise erections.
Once a culture lifts up children as “wise”, and older men as foolish, the writing is on the wall. It’s gonna leave a mark.
We started down that path in the late 50’s.
To function with Aspergers, one must work hard to do the things that come naturally to others, like having empathy or communicating. Once that is accomplished, whatever talents they are born with can be realized.
At 16, there is no reason to hope that Greta has accomplished these things.
I always listen to 16-year-olds, because I remember how much wiser and well-informed I was at that age. < /sarc>
The news these days is so over-wrought, I lost interest years ago.
She is about to embark on a lucrative career. She will rake in the money from speeches, appearances and book deals. She can go to any American college free now. The dem party will invite her to the convention. Nice life, all thanks to petroleum.

Wednesday Addams. That is funny. Also like the “churn the concern” in the article. Hurricanes are not different from 300 years ago; the number of people and infrastructure in their path makes them “bigger”.
I doubt she even knows what a Milankovitch cycle is, or an Interglacial.
