In short it was commies in our military weakening our ability to defend ourselves using the tools of PC insanity - - threatening Pentagon brass with being called names like homophobe etc.
During those years we were taking parts of scrapped planed to keep planes in the air... While 'trans' were getting years of free surgery sitting on their butts. Obama placed commies high up in Intelligence too...
If Pentagon brass are afraid of being called names by useful idiots they need to find a different profession.
