I would say that being sacked is a proxy for being hit, and while it is harder to find stats on hits and hurries, here are the all time leaders in being sacked:

Brees is below Brady in total sacks, yet above him in roughing the passer calls. Why is Brees never derided as whining for a call? I believe it is perception and bias. What are your thoughts? Thanks for posting.
