Free Republic...how come we ban certain sites...
Are we afraid of free speech here...
I know it is Politico but if it is true ..we should know about it..
Politico is NOT banned, as your (and many others) posting an article from there proves. Excerpts are required in order to conform to the “fair use” doctrine demanded by some sites. Some other sites refuse even that small accommodation and nothing is allowed here from them AT THEIR DEMAND.
Agreed. I’m looking for a fund other than my congress critter to support. I’m open to a pro/con debate on all conservative funds. I guess the default is the NRCC?
Please back off this and think a bit. It may be true. But this article isn't written to help you. It's to discourage conservative giving.
Should you be careful and wise about your giving? Absolutely. Should you gullibly accept an article like this at face value? Politico certainly would be glad.
>>>It’s to discourage conservative giving
Actually, wouldn’t Politico actually want to encourage giving to these groups. After all, it’s not like any of it is going to make it to a candidate.
Who needs them. Give directly to your candidates or political organizations. Tea parties went down the drain when those running them got greedy.
This describes the Clinton Foundation and the vast majority of Leftist fundraising and political action.
So we have a bad apple. Not like the log in their eye.
I only give directly to candidates.
The DemocRATS don’t do this. Nope, uh uh. No way.
Actually, wouldnt Politico actually want to encourage giving to these groups. After all, its not like any of it is going to make it to a candidate.
If one was specifically giving to this and a few similar groups, yes. But most conservatives don't give to these particular groups. Look at how they title the article -- problem is made to look like general conservative giving.
ALL of RNC’s fundraising is now joint with Trump ... he’s their big draw, shares the money he raises so he can win Congress and not just the Presidency, and which pretty much gives him ownership of the GOP, so you’re not gonna be seeing any of that money going to rabid anti-Trumpers like Romney.

btw, look at the difference when you search for victoryfortrump between google and bing:

I also give to our county and state central committees.
“Conservatism” was riddled with fraud prior to 2016. Just look at the fake conservatives Ryan and Boehner for a start. That some so-called conservative funds were also frauds cashing in on voter disconent is no suprise whatsoever. How do you think the swamp got to be the swamp?

Behind the curtain you’ll find Grover Norquist, amnesty and muslim apologist
I would not be surprised if there is hanky panky here. And I am not going to justify it if there is.
But I do find it strange that these reporters have nothing to say about the masters of money funneling...The democrats.
The NRCC's primary mission is to keep all incumbant Republicans in office. That includes every RAT lite, Bush leaguer and RINO. Besides, incumbants already are forced to pay "dues" to the NRCC, the amount dependant on how much their campaign has collected. (From each according to their means...to each according to their needs)
No matter HOW ya look at it, it's a stacked deck.
Transparency and Light will be beneficial in the long run. However, we need verified facts on which we base our decisions.
