Testing my grasp on html posting an image. Here goes nothing.
You forgot your = after src. Also, no : at end, after “
I am lousy with html and a small cell phone. At least when I use a computer, it is easy to copy and paste to create the link. I really do wish this was a one-click upload like any of the other formats including eBay, Vwaragesale, Facebook. Just so easy to post images on other sites.
Freerepublic could compete with Zuckerturd’s FaceBook if it were just a little more simple to use. An application or website that would allow for one click commands for sharing images. Most folks, especially older folks like me would just give up as the HTML process is so inconvenient. It would stifle our involvement and enthusiasm. Most of us would just give up or stay with facebook.
Well, I don’t post on any of the sites you mentioned, so I don’t need the ‘1-click’ ability.
Also, I worked with html coding for a few years, before I found FR, so I guess that was helpful.
I agree...it is a tedious process, compared to the easy buttons, of many sites, today.
But....I love FR just as it is.
Definitely. I mean, back then they didn’t discover that there are 57 sexes and that we can choose whatever one we want.

I floated the idea to Jim Rob of donating a religious/patriotic SONG to FR. Did not fit the model.
Or a button that could bring up an “easy format” page.
Now that would make it much easier for us older folks LOL. I have lots of conservative friends who simply duck their head and stay quiet on Facebook because they are afraid to express their conservative opinions. Part of a silenced majority. It sure would be nice to have a safe haven that you can actually interact as you would on Facebook. Like buttons shares comments LOL
