How many troops do we have in Syria?
How many wars are we in already..?
Where are we NOT in a war?
That list may be shorter.
Oh, but are we fighting our BORDER war?
No.
Vice (I know) claims we’re in SEVEN wars right now.
I’m sure NIGER weighed very mightily in your morning worries, right..? Cuz we’re in a war there.
So, after fighting and bombing Syria in an undeclared war—and finally getting most of our folks out of there—your answer is to go back into a sovereign national, and bomb troops that were invited into their country. A country that has NO US Interests in it?
How are you going to explain that to war widows?
No more undeclared wars. Please.
Afghanistan
Iraq
Syria
Yemen
Somalia
Libya
Niger
But now they want to add the biggie, IRAN. A real biggie.
Hey, it’s not like we have $23 tillion in debt, right?
It’s not like we’ve gone from Mexies invading us to penniless, non-English speaking, zero skills CONGOLESE Ebola carriers wading through the river and taking over SAN ANTONIO, right?
Yeah, why not add ANOTHER war to the mix, a reallllly expensive one.
There are so many Iranians fighting in Syria that theres a credible claim from over a year ago that 2100 Iranians were killed in Syria over the previous seven years.

I would have taken out some Cubans in Angola-1970’s. We do owe Iran a punch in the nose-1970’s.
Iran’s presence in Syria is of critical strategic importance to Iran. They control Syrian territory which is only a stones throw for some of their mobile, stealthy land based medium range missiles to strike Israel. Iran has spent a fortune supplying Hamas with missiles fired from Lebanon and Gaza to probe Israel’s Iron Dome. Those missiles in Syria are an important deterrent from any attempt to take out Iran’s nuclear facilities. It won’t be easy to get Iran to leave Syria.
Where are we NOT at war? The one place we should be. Right here.
Watched Tora! Tora! Tora! on TMC yesterday. Accurate. One big mistake after another. The military were aware enough but politicians didn’t listen. The military then lined up all the planes to avoid ‘sabatoge’. Every large organization has room to cover one’s butt once the dust settles. A quagmire could be avoided with Iran. Destroy their military and let them clean up the mess.
and now with the budding up to Russia and China, it will be even worse.
>>>Irans presence in Syria is of critical strategic importance to Iran.
Our planned departure from the base at Al Tanf and its 55km zone will allow for much easier movement of personnel and supplies between Iran and Lebanon.
I’m sure the Saudis and Israel would like for us to get involved. A la Churchill. No need to be led by the nose. We could openly undermine the government with a Congressional resolution. Are they up for it?
There are so many Iranians fighting in Syria
Why is this our business when we arent controlling our own border, and our neighbor to the south is overrun by vicious drug cartels?
How many troops does US have in Syria?
More or fewer than Iran has in Syria?
Im sure the Saudis and Israel would like for us to get involved
We send aid to both - tax dollars extracted from you and your family. Why cant they handle their own business? Either that, or, if were going to safeguard their borders, let Saudis and Israel send troops to our southern border to help close down the invasion from Mexico. Allies should step up, lets stop the one-way street
Its none of our business whatsoever.
Are any of the tankers flying a US flag? If no, then it’s not our problem.
And that punch in he nose came in the 1970s because we overthrew the Iranian government in the 1950s. At some point this endless cycle of BS needs to stop. Revenge for the 1970s and events of 40 years ago is retarded.
