Gee..., I remember when the MOST you could accept was a meal IF THERE WAS NO WAY YOU COULD ACTUALLY PAY FOR IT! Obviously, I worked for the wrong agencies it seems!
I have been in charge of renting these boxes for my company.
Trust me when I tell you there is NOTHING “freebie” in those boxes. They charge for every spoon, napkin, and cube of ice. And not only do they charge for it—the charge is not only retail, but Stadium retail. By that I mean EXPENSIVE.
In my last job, in a hospital, we were so controlled by medicare that we could only accept a cup of coffee, less than $2.50 in the cafeteria from a vendor. And my vendors had nothing to do with Medicare (I am in telecom.)
These guys should burn.
