Remember pointing out that even if they stripped the entire 220,000 members of the Marine Corps from its post as a ready rapid deployment force (leaving us without one) and posted them along the southern border, there aren't enough of them to adequately repel an invasion.
That is the proper function of the Army - which has bases in the region in question.

They’ve unfortunately been massively corrupt for decades, but Obama also weeded out the patriotic ones.
So weird that Trump, whose most famous catch phrase going into his campaign was “You’re fired” has failed most at the basic hiring, firing and management tasks.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s succeeded in lots of areas too, despite that, but so far his admin is a fraction of what it could have been.
I was in the Marines during the Carter Administration. I was actually called in to my Commanding Officer’s office for disparaging the Commander and Chief, Carter. We were told dozens of times this was a punishable offense. It’s drilled into you at the start of boot camp.
