I’m thinking she will do like that woman at the IRS, make her statement and then refuse to answer questions.
If she is a no show, he should just make a statement, with no facts she can dispute later and not take any questions.
I believe all the dems on the judiciary have been involved in this since the beginning. It explains a lot of their stupid questioning.
One series of stupid questions was Kamal Harris’ questions about discussions Kav may have had with an attorney from a specific law firm, without naming the attorney. Kav was a little confused trying to answer the questions and asking for the name of the attorney.
Harris wouldn’t give him specifics. At the time it seemed like a gotcha line of questioning. Looking back, I believe she was playing gotcha, but also setting him up to be a liar so they could use it against him when all this crap got flung around.
Democrats are rotten to the core. They are the enemy. They need to be eliminated from the government as much as possible. Pray for the next election.
Drain the swamp.

Under no circumstances is Grassley to allow Kavanaugh to provide any testimony answering to allegations that have not been made under oath by his accuser.

She has asked not to be under oath as well.
Interesting scenario. Hopefully someone has given the hapless Grassley a decision tree, so he can choose the correct course of action.
I’m guessing that Grassley and Kavanaugh know what we know and are probably at least as smart.
This is a crazy. OTOH, Democrats are certifiable.
Didn’t Kavanaugh already go back up to Capitol Hill last week and spent the day answering committee questions in non-public session that the Democrats chose to not attend. Surely they can get the transcript?
Kavanaugh isn’t that stupid. He will be there to testify, however if no one shows up to accuse him, he will say he fulfilled his obligation to show up and now he is going to work.
The whole thing is moot.
All Christine Ford has to say is that she remembers with absolute clarity that she DID testify (dosn’t remember when or where) before the Senate committee and that she was a paragon of credibility.
We MUST believer her.
This isn’t a bad prediction at all. However, I don’t think Grassley will fall for it. He’ll give her a grace period in which to show up — probably until noon or so, and if she doesn’t, he’ll call for the vote despite the demands otherwise.
