Kavanaugh and his wife and both long-term, deep Bushies.
“If the Kavanaugh nomination is killed it will be the ULTIMATE revenge of the moderate-liberal wing of the republican party.”
It will also be the final nail in the coffin for Republicans.
That’s why it makes no sense for the moderates to be squishy, for he would have been a Mitt or Jeb pick as well.
The only answer is that they’re salivating at helping the democrats deny a conservative victory.
