DACA has no statutory basis, it was illegal the day the Kenyanesian Usurper invented it.
It is still illegal.
How can a judge order an illegal program restarted?

Obviously, in order to comply, they need to implant tracking chips in all the aliens.
Twenty eight years of Democrats and Bush League Republicans, this was a GWB appointment.
Congress needs to play their Constitutional role by immediately impeaching judges who attempt to legislate from the bench in this way. If Congress keeps ignoring these attempts to steal their authority, the problem will continue.

I have an idea, Judge. Deport the kids, too, and let Mexico find the parents and reunite the families. Sheesh... Why does the US taxpayer have to do all the heavy lifting?
Tru reality is DACA was started by the Kenyan 6 years ago and the majority (if not all) of these poor unfortunate "children" are now adults. No need to find parents, deport and let them find mama and poppa on their own. Pulling the 'poor poor orphaned children' is laughable.
Wouldn’t it be much easier and more natural for the parents to simply come forward and pick up their kids? It’s almost as if the parents do not really care...(if they are even the true parents...)
You are partly right, but your general understanding is flawed.
DACA was an “Executive Memo” written by Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. It carries the force of law unless a federal court declares it unconstitutional or “arbitrary and capricious.”
Napolitano was subordinate only to Obama and the Attorney General.
Obviously, either Obama, or the A.G., or both, ordered her to write the DACA memo.
Executive Memos, just like Executive Orders, do not create new law. They simply interpret existing statutes that were previously passed by Congress and signed by a President.

Funny you say it was Janet Napolitano when there was a picture published of Obama signing the memo for DACA.
(1) Trump's DACA Memo is political theater.
(2) In 2015, Trump promised to "end" DACA. But Trump has never promised to deport the DACA kids.
(3) Trump's anti-DACA Memo simply argues that Obama’s DACA Memo is unlawful. It is a complete waste of time and effort.
(4) Every federal judge has told Trump the same thing: “A new administration is entitled to replace old policies with new policies so long as they comply with the law.”
(5) Trump can order Homeland Security to deport the DACA kids any time he wants to. That has been established law for 66 years, and no Judge can stop him.
(6) Unfortunately, Trump is never going to do that.
