***Claudia Cardinale at the height of her saftig sexiness. ***
I saw THE PROFESSIONALS at the theater in 1966. WOW! There is a scene where she tries to seduce Burt Lancaster. She drops her top, and even though it is pre-1968 and rather dark, you can see she is ALL WOMAN!
I saw it again six months later at another theater and the scene where she drops her top, in the lower right of the screen, is fogged out. Bummer!
I have seen it many times since, and have it on DVD and the scene is always fogged out.
Too many OLD action movies are left out. WE can not forget WHITE HEAT,
ACTION IN THE NORTH ATLANTIC,
AIR FORCE,
SAHARA (the Humphrey Bogart movie),
DAWN PATROL,
THE FIGHTING 69TH,
SAN ANTONIO,
OPERATION BURMA,
NORTHWEST PASSAGE,
UNCONQUERED with GARY COOPER,
Paths of Glory (1957),
DENVER AND RIO GRANDE.
And the westerns of RANDOLPH SCOTT!
Too cerebral for today’s audiences. They actually have plots and dialog you can understand!
Love that one!
