Exactly. They did not want there to be any record of the meeting and the arrangements. Recall how angry the DOJ and FBI were at the local person who blabbed word of the meeting to the media and that all kinds of outrage was aimed at that leaker rather than at the fact that the meeting occurred.

The story was indeed that Bubba just happened to be in town for this golf tournament. Well, at the time I read that he got himself invited to it, then flew out for it, but never showed up. So that was just a cover story so that he could have this secret meeting.

Now that we know that Loretta's and Bubba's FBI details set this thing up, do you think that they would spend a lot of effort to arrange a meeting to talk golf and grandchildren? Not a chance! This was yet another FBI operation designed to subvert their own Hillary investigation.
