That was a nasty time to be in Phoenix and flying to Mexico City. I worked downtown and the news stories coming back made me afraid to be anywhere near Mexican citizens. There were news reports in Mexico City where they were blaming all deaths from guns on the USA and Fast and Furious.
And the Mexican citizens were responding as expected. Hate the gringo, El Norte.

Every state requires a comprehensive background check. When I practiced in California, the FBI (don’t laugh) did them and we had to pay $500 for the privilege. That was quite a few years ago.
How did Obama get through that background check?
