indeed. programming is a lot like envelop-stuffing. pretty much anyone can take a couple of programming courses, regardless of their background, and in just a couple of months become an ace programmer earning $61 per hour ... in fact, i’m pretty sure i saw an ad like this in the back of a comic book a couple of weeks ago ...

I had a patient once who worked for a “clipping service”. She was actually paid to go through newspapers, and clip stuff out. I had never heard of such a thing, and have no idea how much money she made. It was piece work, and she was well off, but that might have had nothing to do with the clipping service job.
