The only thing this guy is 'guilty' of is living in the fascist sh*thole of New York city.

““This stockpile of weapons poses a great risk to the residents of Queens. It is extremely disturbing to find such an arsenal of firearms in a residential community.””

Walking into Charleston Heston’s basement would have
sent these guys over the edge.

A couple of Yugo RPKs. Hard to tell but I’m not seeing a 3rd pin.

This is nothing but a regular day at the range in the free state of Sweet Home Alabama. Too bad he had to live in that totalitarian place that does not recognize the Constitutionally-protect right to keep and bear arms.

Should have moved to Georgia.

Here, this would be a modest start of a collection.

What was the charge?

Didn’t mention a law being broken in the excerpt.

5.56mm

Precisely. In Arizona this would not be an atypical "collection".

I had to abandon my home state of California in order to avoid imperial infringement and reclassification from citizen to subject.

Well there shouldn’t be a shooting in Queens for at least a day now!

Looks like a decent collection, they appear quite clean.

This man is guilty of gross stupidity. Living in a police state and being a gun collector is stupid. He should have moved to a Free State.

The NYPD wasn`t founded until 1845.
The NYPD had to ask special permission of the NY State Legislature to be founded and armed. The citizens of NY City had weapons in their houses for over 50 years before the NYPD was even in existence.
This goes to show that the baby is killing the mother.

You know I am of the opinion that New York City, and the other liberal cities like it should be made Federal districts.

They suffer from a terminal case of liberalism and cannot be saved.

I don’t think we’ll ever get rid of the communist hoplophobes in this state and city. Barring the Trump admin arresting 95% of the “leaders” here, nothing will change for the better.

I’m (unfortunately) a native-born New Yorker and believe in Natural Rights, endowed by our Creator, that no man may forcibly eliminate from my life. To do such is to enslave.

Looks more like a collection than an arsenal. There are just a few scary black rifles that could shoot 1000 rounds per second, but the rest are just personal defense or hunting/recreation pieces.

To the general public, they probably all look like they could shoot 1000 rounds per second.

The 2nd photo shows an AR with a short (10”-11”?) barrel AND carbine buttstock; and the 5th photo shows an Uzi with collapsable stock AND barrel that appears (to me) to be less than 16” in length. Either/both of those might require approval (as SBRs) under federal law/regs...

Will this obvious abuse of power in the confiscation of this man's firearms be the "shot heard around the world"?

I wonder if those who predict the coming CW-II will be coming to this guy's aid? Or maybe they can't get the time off work..........

Can’t be sure from the photo, but the Thompson barrel is pretty long. It might be a 16” barrel semi-auto version that is legal in most places. I believe the classic fully-auto guns had 12” barrels, thus making them two-fers under the NFA; machine guns and short-barreled rifles.

If only we had federal preemption of firearms laws, or maybe a constitutional amendment that would do away with this patchwork of local laws! {/s}
