If they slept on the sidewalk, the CBC would be fine with it.

I don’t think anyone takes the CBC seriously...
not even their fellow dems.
It's not just Congress.
I bet the CBC do much worst things in their Offices

Yep. These guys “sleep” in the office for other reasons. No doubt.
How about a Congressional barracks or no frills apartment building for the little sweethearts?
Of course if it had been the CBC that came up with the scheme they would cry loud and hard against any effort to throw them out of their free lodging. We can be sure that members who sleep in their offices are hard at work doing the people’s business rather than cavorting with the night life of DC.
Libs are masters at building ant mounds into mountains. Ridding the Capital of all personal services such as restrooms, gyms, showers, cafeterias, chairs and tables would be consistent with these paragons of virtue who would insist on cleanliness in all things.
I am certain the majority could find some extreme inconvenience to heap upon the loyal opposition. Tit for tat.
I don’t see any indication that any CBC member slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
The CBC want reparations.
They sleep twenty to a little house.
The states should provide dormatories for their congressional caucii so they have a clean safe place to sleep. They should also do this so the SOB’s don’t keep raising their own salary to buy a friggin house in DC
Throw in 24/7 anklets to record everything for their term.
Haha. Black people complaining about people getting free shit. That's a first.
Seems like I remember one with cash filling his office freezer.
This is a logical flow chart drawn by a toddler with a fat crayon.
CBC want to rent out the Offices at night and they can’t do it with members sleeping there ,LOL
From the article
Some CBC members also suggested that if the committee gives a formal green light to the practice, the House should provide lawmakers a per diem to help with living expenses
The Democratic critics argue that the behavior is unethical and beneath the dignity of the office. They also say it is unfair to the hundreds of members who choose to live outside the Capitol paying Washingtons high living costs.
They criticize the behavior because it makes them look bad.
It is hard to believe they come up with such insane arguments. If more Congresscritters rented or purchased in Washington, the prices would go up.
