"We're headed for it, folks..."
Dare I ask, headed for what exactly?
To: DrDude
Rosenstein signed off of a warrant application that he knew was misleading because it used a manufactured dossier. It was buttressed by a media report, of all things, that referred to the manufactured dossier. He knew because Bruce Ohr’s wife was instrumental in the production of the warrant. He should be fired for obstruction of justice. If I am wrong and he didn't know, he should be fired for incompetence.
A few bonus questions:
Why hasn't he resigned in shame?
Why hasn't he been fired for cause?
Why hasn't he been indicted?
Why hasn't the judge who was defrauded hauled him back into court and thrown him in jail for contempt?

I don't know exactly. But when I see unelected bureaucrats in Federal agencies defying, not just Constitutionally-mandated congressional oversight, but the orders and agenda of the chief executive himself, I begin to worry that our system of checks and balances is breaking down. And when I further see such unelected bureaucrats at the FBI and DOJ rigging investigations for force a particular outcome, I worry even more. And then when I realize that those investigations that were rigged were rigged to influence the outcome of a national election and/or covertly overthrow an elected President, I worry more still. Then there's the fact that the democrat party is clearly on board with -- and providing cover for -- these bad actors, with whom they're clearly aligned. That also worries me. And when it becomes apparent that the media, who used to at least pretend to keep government corruption in check, are now inextricably intertwined with the goals of these corrupt bureaucrats (call 'em Deep-Staters, if you like), then I get a nasty chill.
So, what exactly are we headed for? I don't know. But it won't be fun, and our Republic might not survive it.

You are citing examples at the federal level, and I agree with all of them.
Throw in the seditious behavior of state and local officials. How can you declare your city or state will not longer follow federal immigration laws, in fact will harbor fugitives and will prosecute those individuals who follow federal law in this regard? Study the events that led to the first civil war.
Here is a good 20 minute primer:

“Firing either Rosenstein or Mueller plays right into their hands.”
There is NEVER a ‘right time’ for Trump to fire any of the Deep Staters, per the Left...so Trump shouldn’t worry about that. He fired Comey at the ‘wrong time’ and nothing came of it, even though we heard the same threats prior.
In this case, this is a good time to dump RR. The Memo’s out there, Trump’s SOU went down really well, Republicans are getting a bit less shy about supporting him.
So I say GO FOR IT! Nothing will happen, he will NOT get impeached, and that’s all that matters.

No prosecutions will be further proof that the rule of law is dead. If Trump doesn’t go after these people with the full force of the law then he’s just another swamp dweller.
