I’ve been added to several email list whose unsubscribe function has been broken for as long as I can remember, which is why those entire domains are in my spamfilter

I wish environmentalists would shut them down; it is a waste, and if you’re away it just advertises that when the junk is all over the porch/spilling from the mailbox...

My wife gets flooded with useless junk mail and catalogs. I get virtually no mail unless it’s a bill or a package.
All of that gets junked as soon as possible.

Living out in the middle of nowhere, I have found it more convenient to have a mail box at the UPS Store in town. I usually check it once a week or so. Most of the time I walk away empty handed as all the mail jamming the box was junk which wound up in the trash. Notable exception to this is Netflix DVDs :)
For me, the biggest advantage is that, unlike USPS, they send me an email when I receive a package.

If not for junk mail I wouldnt get any mail........All my bills, statements and payments are done electronically Same with me. I go to my mail box about one a week and sort through the 99.999% that is junk mail and put it right in the recycling bin.
