Nope. In fact, not even the Founding Fathers would have ever wanted a democracy. If anything, they wanted a Republic (and yes, there’s a massive difference between the two).
If you want democracy, you want communism and fascism/Nazism, maybe also anarchism thrown into the mix, as they’re all one and the same. A republic isn’t that, at least not the one developed by our founding fathers. Only thing better than that besides monarchy is an Empire ruled by God directly.
The Founding Fathers only wanted property owners voting, as they had the most to lose/skin in the game. Certainly not a true democracy, but don’t you live in the US? Why? It may be flawed, but better than most (if not all) alternatives...
I live in the US, and no, we are NOT a democracy at all. We might have elements of it, sure, in the sense that people vote. But make no mistake, we are a Republic, NOT a democracy. You want an actual democracy? Look at the French Revolution, where people slaughtered each other for fun and engaged in the guillotine and terror. I understand this is a “representative republic”
We are a Constitutional Republic, and yes, we are a representative republic, but it’s still not the same thing as a democracy. Like I said, a true democracy would be more like the French Revolution or even Somalia.
