This man is a racist, plain and simple. He is advocating a return to the days of segregation - of races, and of the sexes. This is Western liberalism in 2017.

Sadly the professor never thought to rephrase the question and see if he was comfortable with it applied to his own children. Should parents of white children ask "Is it OK for my child to be friends with an African American child?"

Anyone who isn't a racist would know the answer to that question instantly, since of all the many factors that might enter into whether a friendship was "OK" or not, skin color by itself isn't one of them.

But apparently the professor is a racist, and what he is advocating is at its core harmful to everyone.

Personally I don’t give a rip about anyone’s race other than its possible interesting historical components. But when someone has the attitude this so -called educator has, and comes at me with it? You better believe I have contempt for him. In fact raw contempt is probably the nicest thing he could expect from me.
