Mossberg Persuader...18.5” bbl, cylinder bore, ghost ring, 5 shot mag and Knoxx CopStock, just right for my abode... Short and sweet with reduced recoil 00 loads.
I have a Mossy 500 .12 gauge with a 30 inch barrel in the front closet loaded for black bears, three #8 shots for stinging his behind and two slugs at the end of the line in case he charges.
In my office is another Mossy 500 .12 gauge youth gun with a 20 inch barrel, loaded with low recoil buckshot. In my den is a S&W .12 gauge riot gun loaded with low recoil buckshot’s and next to my bed is a Mossy 500 .12 gauge with a 24 inch barrel and combat sights loaded with five rounds of low recoil buck shot and a slug at the end of the line.
You can find nice Mossbergs all day long at pawn shops in the $100-$200 range.
Not good for home invasion.....too many walls, cabinets and appliances that will need to be replaced and not to mention the blood that will need to be cleaned up.
We added pistol grip, blade sight out on the barrel, ghost ring and the loops for the bandolier and 25 round bandolier.
How do you get your hearing back after firing it inside?
Have one!
Want one of these: http://www.winchesterguns.com/products/shotguns/sxp/SXP-Current-Products/super-x-pump-marine-defender.html
Sounds familiar ;>)
Bandolier=10×00, 10xBrenneke Tactical Home Defense 440gr slugs, 5x4 buck.
I don't know.
You can get a .410 barrel shorter than 18" for a Thompson Contender though.
Better, I think, to stick with a rifle/carbine or a shotgun plus a handgun.
