The NFL is lying on the ground bleeding to death. The bleeding will not stop until every player is standing for the anthem. By the time that happens the NFL will be dead.
I attended the Broncos/Raiders game. Saw the hit on Carr, understand he’s out for at least two weeks as a result of the injury to his back. EJ Manuel replaced him and was moving the Raiders offense, but they came up short. There was no speculation, at least locally, that it was a set up on the part of the Raiders OL to get Carr injured. This is pure speculation, the Raiders want to beat the Broncs ... it’s a long standing rivalry ... they aren’t going to get their QB wasted ... they want the win.

Now it is player against player.

And it is player against player on the same team!
This isn’t going to end well - for the NFL.

Reminds me of a sport that gained worldwide acclaim and fans, sumo wrestling. You mean it didn’t? That was because at almost the same time it was supposed to hit the big time, it was revealed that organized crime rigged every match. Not only did it stop it’s rise on the world’s sports stage, it almost completely killed it at home. It’s popular in Japan again but not even close to it’s heyday. Even foreigners are now champions. I guess that’s what these jerks want for pro football.

Only one problem, Carr was tackled by Derrick Wolfe a white Bronco(Insert OJ joke). Not saying the Offensive line didn’t let up, just pointing out who made the tackle.
