Agree! Whatever they claim they want your guns. Then they can do as they please.
Remember, when a liberal says “we really need to have a conversation about......” - what they mean is “we really to lecture you about this and you need to shut up, listen and do as we say”. We’ve been talking constantly about guns and race for 50 years, yet we keep hearing how we need to have a “conversation” about it.
Those AHOLE leftists wanna kill 58 of us, AND THAT’S THEIR EXCUSE to take away all the guns!?!? MOLON LABE!!
Repeal all firearms laws, nationwide. Give Americans a fighting chance.

As I’ve said before, the progressives know just as I do, the only gun control that might work is confiscation. Period. They are in the first stage of trying to guilt us out and make it more and more difficult to get fewer and fewer weapon types.
As the ISIS types are showing us in Europe, SUVs and rental trucks are very efficient means for mass murder. So are kitchen knives, acid, etc.
Confiscation from non-violent citizens, while deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.
The number of gun-related homicides in Chicago during the month of SEP was 57 according to my sources.
That’s two less than the number murdered in Las Vegas.
Yet, liberals/Dims aren’t wringing their hands too much over that.

I’ve seen a couple of headlines to the effect that ‘Democrats’ are admitting that no gun law(s) would have stopped the LV massacre. Sounds good, right? They’re finally coming to their senses. Nope .... if gun laws don’t work, the next step is no guns .... that’s where they’re headed, that’s where they’ve been headed. This is very similar to what the gays did - just let us be treated equally, let us have gay marriage, etc. etc. & then it mushrooms into out & out intolerance & persecution of anyone who does not espouse their views (like Christian bakers). The Left will not be satisfied until every gun they can find is confiscated ..... we need to fight them every single time they try to impose restrictions, every step of the way when they start this crap up and the result should be to beat them back, not eventually let them incrementally get their way. If Hilly were Prez & her SC nominee on the bench, 2A would be toast already.

America had a very close call in Nov 2016. Every election we've had in my lifetime, both sides hyperbolically yell, "THIS is the MOST IMPORTANT election of your ENTIRE life! THIS...will be the ONE that changes....EVERYTHING!!". But, IMO, that actually might have been the case last year. A Hilly election might have led to an unrecoverable situation for our country. Time will tell, I suppose.
Wish that Americans didn't have the habit of walking up to the edge and looking over, before stepping back. Sooner or later, they'll slip.

Who’s going to do the finding and the confiscating? Not being snarky, real question.
And I will attempt to answer it thus: last year I was very afraid that H-Beast would steal the election and turn us into disarmed Europeans. To allay my fears, I researched every possible scenario for national gun confiscation using every involved arm of government.
Conclusion: it’s not going to happen. Too big a scene, too heavy for government to go out & round up all the guns or use the IRS or some such.
For example, look at the states (CA, CT, MA, NJ) that have passed ex post facto registration laws for “assault weapons”, complete with deadlines for compliance. The deadlines have passed, threats have been made, but so far no knocking on doors. The police aren’t stupid.
For now, it will be the usual sound and fury, signifying nothing.

I have NO lefty “friends”, most are disturbed in one way or another. They think “left” and I think “right” and I’m not changing just to keep them as a friend.
i gave up on “lefty friends” a couple decades ago.
